Teach your Puppy How to accept Grooming and Handling
Every dog, no matter how long or short the dog’s coat, needs to be groomed and have his nails trimmed on a regular basis. Most dogs should be professionally groomed every four to six weeks and their nails mast be trimmed every two tree weeks.
Handling a Puppy
It is very important to introduce a human touch in a very positive way early in puppy-hood so that the dog will let any one to examine his body and use trimmers with a brush or comb. This will also help when your dog goes for grooming or vet examination.
Introducing Puppy to a brush
To introduce comb or brush you can use a treat with one hand while combing with the other. In the beginning you can use the back of the brush or side of the comb to get your puppy used to the feel without pulling his hair.

Trimmers can be introduced in the same way.
Showing Clippers to a Puppy
Use treats to make learning positive. In the beginning pick up his foot and play with his paw

Just pretend that you are trimming his nail when you start.

During these exercises, puppy must settle down and the owner must be calm and use a low, friendly tone of voice.
